“We Do What We’re Told”

“Just Following Orders”

The following is a great video showing how people are easily duped by a total stranger into stalking or harassing another total stranger. It is related to the Milgram’s “Obedience to Authority” experiment in that it shows how easily people can be manipulated by those they perceive to have authority. The show at the following link is an episode of “What Would You Do?” with John Quinones. I thought about this video when I saw a stranger in my neighborhood talking to a neighbor, & pointing at my house. This is what Organized Stalking & Electronic Harassment may be (at least partially) about:

A video of the original Stanley Milgram‘s experiment on Obedience to Authority can be found here:
A modern version of the Milgram’s experiment, done by Derren Brown, can be found here:
Both the original Milgram’s Obedience to Authority experiment & the Derren Brown experiment proved that over 50% of the test subjects were willing to administer lethal shocks to the “learners”, simply because they were told to, by someone with perceived authority.

If you are familiar with the tendency of the “New Age Movement” toward genocide, you may be interested in the lyrics at the end of the Peter Gabriel song entitled, “We Do What We’re Told” (Milgram’s 37)” which was inspired by the original Milgram’s experiment (link to video below):
Finally here are a couple of links to videos about the Stanford Prison Experiment, which I feel is related:
Thank you to Neverending1 (http://neverending1.wordpress.com/2014/05/04/gang-stalking-mind-blowing-video-of-the-stupidity-of-people/) for inspiring me to do this article linking the videos.
